Functionhealth.com (Domain) Investigation Report

Generated on Jun 22, 2026

Recommendation
Caution
Overall Summary
Safe
  Why we think so?

functionhealth.com looks like a real, active health-tech business, not a scam site. 🌐 It has a long-running domain, valid SSL, a large U.S.-heavy audience, and clear company contacts. The site also uses established infrastructure like Cloudflare, Google Workspace, Stripe, Intercom, and Shopify Plus, which is what you’d expect from a funded consumer brand.

The main caution is not authenticity, but business fit. Function Health is a premium lab-testing membership with mixed public feedback: many users like the breadth of testing and dashboard, while complaints focus on delays, customer service, pricing, and limited doctor-style interpretation. It is also in a legitimate trademark-style dispute history and public complaints exist, but none of the evidence points to phishing, crypto fraud, or a fake storefront.

Bottom line: proceed with caution if you are evaluating value, billing, or privacy. ✅

Category Scores

Red Flags & Warnings

  • Public complaint summaries mention delayed results, customer service issues, and pricing that can rise well above the advertised base membership once add-ons and lab fees are included.
  • The service appears to provide a lot of health data, but several reviews say the interpretation is limited and can feel more like a data product than hands-on care.
  • The company’s terms route many disputes into arbitration with a class-action waiver, which can make consumer complaints harder to resolve publicly.
  • A consumer-facing health company with this many reviews and complaints still deserves billing and privacy scrutiny, even if it is genuine.

Detailed Checks & Insights

0-100 Scale

Your Next Steps

  • 1

Verify the exact membership price, lab fees, and refund terms before paying.

  • 2

Read the current terms on data sharing, arbitration, and renewal so you know how disputes are handled.

  • 3

If you care most about medical guidance, confirm how much interpretation you get versus raw lab data.

  • 4

Use a credit card so you have stronger chargeback protection if billing goes wrong.

  • Membership signup nightmare

I was gifted a membership $350. When signing up I was charged $350 and my gift code was ignored. I tried to call but the phone number in my Wells Fargo account transaction does not work at all. The phone call connects but is then disconnected as if someone answers but then hangs up. There is no other contact with them other than chat. I still can't tell if chat is a bot, ai or a person because there are no real answers and no help at all. "Just wait 48 hours and it we'll fix it" is all I get from them. No company should be this un-reachable when doing business with the public. I will probably have to cancel my card to get the charge removed. I don't want to do business with them but my wife gifted the membership so I'm stuck. Right now I just need my money back and they don't care.
